|Responsibilities||Cherry Street Mission Ministries is a biblically based organization with a core value of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.**
•Responsible for providing leadership and direction of Food Services at Cherry Street Mission.
•Responsible for overall strategic planning, budget management, organizational development, staff management, and daily operations.
•Provide leadership stability throughout the operational side of Food Services.
•Oversee the collaborative process with our partners to achieve upon day one 51% collaboration with the new kitchen at the Life Revitalization Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Develops and lead the strategies and goals of Food Service. • To keep operational staff aware of the organizational strategies, goals, and how staff can meet the goals. • Takes a leadership role in driving a collaborative process not only among operations staff, but also with staff from other department, volunteers, donors and guests. • Obtain production capability within the organization. • Leads, motivates, and develops staff so they are passionate about the vision that drives Cherry Street Mission. Committed to working effectively toward continual improvement. • Provide exceptional customer services to our guests, volunteers, staff and donors. • Manages the budget for department. • Remain within budget guidelines and ensure that department has necessary resources available for them to run effectively and efficiently. • Supports the executive, administrative, developmental and transformative components of the organization ensuring the operational goals and objectives are in alignment. • Builds relationships within community forums, civic, and faith-based organizations and participates in activities aligned with the organization’s mission and vision. • Ensures all staffing needs and employee issues are communicated to Human Resource Director as well as participating in the hiring process. • Oversight of timekeeping and scheduling. • Hold staff meetings that encourage and uplifts staff while allowing them to voice concerns and offer suggestions. • Provide leadership development to the Food Services team. • To bring organization and encouragement to staff, guests, volunteers. • To have accurate counts of meals, people, and supplies for Food Service. • During the construction process of the new kitchen at the Life Revitalization Center, work 50% of the time on the tasks from the kitchen build work stream.

We are a homeless ministry in the greater Toledo, Ohio area. We provide daily shelter, meals, and basic necessities to those in need. We are currently in the process of building a State of the Art Kitchen and are in need of a Food Service Director who has a heart for ministry.
