ResponsibilitiesWe are a Christian camp and conference center that operates year-round. Throughout the year, our property hosts various events ranging from corporate retreats to summer camp. We are looking for an individual with positive leadership skills with ability to motivate a team in our Food Service department.
In this Lead Cook position, you will be responsible for acting as lead worker to staff and may assign some daily duties to staff. You will also train and instruct employees in the proper methods and procedures and inform supervisors of any issues as they arise. Ensure guests' satisfaction with food-quality, production and safety in a timely manner. Maintain proper storage and inventory. Daily responsibilities may include prepping, cooking, serving, cleaning and organizing inventory. Daily demands can change based on guest amount and specific requests/needs.
Implement current recipes, while contributing new ideas. Must have experience with operating commercial equipment and high-volume meal service. 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule according to workload and occupancy.
Must be Food Handlers certified.
Pay$13.00/hr with Full Benefits
