|Title|| Kitchen Assistant Manager
|Responsibilities||*Communication with the Food Service Director to plan ahead in assigning daily and weekly tasks
*Assisting with preparation of hot and cold foods
*Assisting with the planning and set-up of service lines
*Assisting with maintaining clean and well-stocked service areas
*Assisting with proper storage of leftovers
*Assisting with the training and supervision of younger seasonal staff members
*Assisting with inventories and deliveries
*Assisting with keeping the kitchen and dining room clean
*Taking full charge of the kitchen on the Food Service Director’s day off
The ideal candidate must be ServSafe certified, able to provide necessary PA child clearance documentation, be literate in basic computer programs, and have 2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen – preferably in a supervisory role.
|Pay||$450/week + housing

|Other Details||Pocono Plateau is a Christian based camp located in the heart of Eastern PA’s Pocono Mountains. Our
healthy minded environment is one of no offensive language, smoking, drugs, or alcohol usage. All of
our staff, guests, and vendors are expected to treat one another with kindness and respect.
The responsibility of the assistant manager will be to work alongside our Food Service Director to help
provide a top-quality dining experience for guests of all ages. We strive to produce as much product as
possible fresh in house, while paying special attention to specific dietary needs.
EVERY guest who walks through our doors needs to feel special and loved at each meal!
This is a 6 day work week position, during the hours of 6 am to 7 pm (with a short break after breakfast
service, and a longer break after lunch service).
Dates of Service will be June 9 through August 15
